Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store passwords in plain text.
Usage data: We track how many content splits you generate per month to enforce plan limits. We do not store the content you submit for repurposing after processing is complete.
Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our website. This includes pages visited, session duration, device type, and approximate location. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your cookie preferences.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
We use your data to provide and improve the Splitpost service, process payments, enforce usage limits, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset), and analyze aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Supabase (authentication & database) — hosted in the EU
Stripe (payments) — PCI DSS compliant
Anthropic / Claude AI (content generation) — your input content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training.

Vercel (hosting) — edge network

We use cookies for essential functionality (authentication) and analytics (Google Analytics). You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie consent banner. Essential cookies are required for the service to function. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or request restriction of processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@splitpost.app. We will respond within 30 days.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Repurpose history is stored for your convenience and can be deleted upon request. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Payment records are retained as required by tax law (typically 10 years in Germany).
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure API communications. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Splitpost is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website.
